Mayoral candidates to address millennial voters at student-led forum Tuesday at Tulane

WHAT:    The NOLA Student Leadership and Civic Engagement Project will present a student-organized Mayoral Candidate Forum where students from area universities will pose questions to candidates in the runoff to become the next mayor of New Orleans.

WHO:   Candidates LaToya Cantrell and Desiree Charbonnet; Students representing Dillard University, Southern University New Orleans, Loyola University, Tulane University, University of New Orleans and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
        
WHEN:    4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24

WHERE:     The Kendall Cram room on the second floor of Tulane University’s Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life

MORE:    The forum will be an opportunity for millennial voters to have their voices heard as New Orleans selects its first female mayor. The Leadership and Civic Engagement Project empowers students to identify, address and resolve challenging issues through civic engagement. The event is organized by The Isaiah Institute of New Orleans and hosted by the Tulane Black Student Union.
