Tulane’s Freeman Futurist Series to explore the future of AI and private equity
The Stewart Center for Professional & Executive Education at Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business will convene leaders in strategy, entrepreneurship and global investing to discuss how artificial intelligence is transforming private equity.
Cliff Farrah, a growth-strategy consultant and author, will host “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Private Equity” from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in the Marshall Family Commons, located on the first floor of the Goldring/Woldenberg Business Complex on Tulane’s uptown campus. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited, and advance registration is required. Attendees can register here.
The event is part of the Freeman Futurist Series with Cliff Farrah, a speaker series spotlighting how innovation, leadership and technologies are reshaping global industries.
The featured panelists are Gregg Albert, senior managing director at Accenture; Timothy Bovard, founder and chief executive officer of Search Fund Accelerator, which supports entrepreneurs in acquiring and leading companies as equity-owning CEOs; and Richard Elder, managing director, partner and head of Global Portfolio Solutions at global investment firm The Carlyle Group.
The panel will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the private equity lifecycle by increasing speed, sharpening decision-making and creating new opportunities for value at every stage, from deal sourcing and due diligence to post-acquisition integration and exit. Panelists will also examine how real-time reporting is reshaping portfolio management and how AI-powered insights are informing industry consolidation strategies across the market.
The Freeman Futurist Series with Cliff Farrah aims to equip working professionals, students and alumni with a clear understanding of emerging business practices to help them gain an advantage in the workforce. Through dynamic panels featuring industry leaders, Tulane faculty and accomplished alumni, each session examines how technologies, including AI, automation, robotics and quantum computing are transforming sectors across the economy. All programs are recorded for digital distribution across Freeman and partner channels.

Farrah, author of the acclaimed book Growing the Top Line: Four Key Questions and the Proven Process for Scaling Your Business, has more than 30 years of experience in growth-strategy consulting across a variety of industries.
