“She really has to be the domestic diplomat,” said Rebecca Rouse, the associate director of emergency and security studies at Tulane University.
“By most accounts, improved preparatory measures were taken in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, relying upon lessons learned during that catastrophe, “Rebecca “Becky” Rouse, an associate professor of practice and associate director of emergency and security studies at Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement, said in a statement.
The Tulane School of Professional Advancement (Tulane SoPA) is committed to helping companies improve their cybersecurity by raising awareness, conducting free assessments and educating working professionals.
“The key is preparation. You don’t want to wait until the last minute,” said Michael Wallace, Senior Professor of Practice and Program Director for Emergency and Security Studies at the Tulane School of Professional Advancement.
“I was in the military for so many years,” Robert Allen, a security expert at Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement, told Grid. “Even for someone like me, there’s still a hell of a long process for me to actually possess a fully automatic weapon.”
Ralph Russo is currently the Director of Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement Information Technology where he has taught in both homeland security and information technology programs.

Booker-Drew is an adjunct at Tulane University and a research affiliate at Antioch University’s Graduate School of Leadership and Change.
Through partnerships with Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, program graduates are also finding they can turn the industry-based credentials earned at Operation Spark into college credits.
