Using a grant from the Office of Naval Research, Tiong Aw, MD, of the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, is working toward the early detection of viral pathogens in species such as bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.

The Department of Jewish Studies and the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience will be sponsoring the Marian and Byron Strug Lecture, titled “Jews of the South and the Perils of Acceptance,” today at 7 p.m. in the Maurine Family Executive Dining Room (Room 460) of the Goldring/Woldenberg Hall.
