Nicholas Mattei, assistant professor of computer science at Tulane, will spend the next year as an Alan I. Leshner Leadership Institute Public Engagement Fellow, promoting meaningful dialogue about the role of artificial intelligence on society.

The Tulane Environmental Law & Policy Summit, the longest-running student-organized environmental law conference in the country, will be held Friday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 7, from 8:40 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Tulane Law’s John Giffen Weinmann Hall. The summit, which features 24 panels, a citizen workshop and two keynote addresses, will examine environmental issues impacting the Gulf Coast and the globe. The event is free.
