Tulane alumna Florence Bass turns 105

Brooklyn Heights resident Florence Bass earned a master's degree in social work from Tulane University in 1939. She joined the Women's Army Corps during World War II and helped resettle Jewish refugees in the years after. Bass recently celebrated her 105th birthday surrounded by family and friends.
