The exhibition “Proteus 1892, Teunisson 1902, and Louis Armstrong 1949: Selections from the Carnival Holdings of Tulane University’s Special Collections Division” features original float designs from the 1892 Proteus parade, photos from Mardi Gras in 1902 along Canal St. and in the French Quarter, and photos of Louis Armstrong during his reign as King Zulu in 1949. The exhibit ends Friday, June 14. The Special Collections gallery is on the second floor of Jones Hall (6801 Freret St.) and open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
