Reily Center reopens with new practices, protocols

The Reily Student Recreation Center will reopen on Aug. 3 with new COVID-19 health and safety protocols including workout reservations, limited hours and membership, daily deep cleanings and distanced workout machines.

As on-campus transformations continue, the university's outdoor classroom, located on Pierson Patio, allows professors and students to socially distance in nature while providing benefits of a traditional classroom.

Hillel names educator Ron Gubitz as executive director

Ron Gubitz was unanimously selected as Tulane Hillel's new director following a five-month national search. Gubitz, who stepped into his role in June, has spent the past 20 years facilitating innovative adult learning experiences to help students achieve academically, emotionally and artistically.

University part of study that discovered massive submarine landslide offshore Tanzania

Cynthia Ebinger, the Marshall-Heape Chair Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, is part of a team studying the hazards of submarine landslides beneath the Indian Ocean that are associated with the East African Rift System.

Fridays at Bea: Sunpie and the Louisiana Sunspots

The Alumni Association’s summer series titled “Fridays at Bea” brings a taste of New Orleans culture to alumni every Friday from the Bea Field Alumni House.
