Melissa A. Weber was officially named curator of Tulane's Hogan Jazz Archive, part of the Special Collections division of the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. Weber is also known as DJ Soul Sister and hosts a nearly 25-year-old radio show on WWOZ-FM.
Richard Campanella, Tulane geography professor, is the recipient of the 2019 Louisiana Writer Award. Campanella has authored 11 books on the geography, history, architecture and culture of Louisiana.
