The Tulane University School of Architecture has been assisting Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s Office of Youth and Families and design experts Arup and PlayBuild on “Goals for a Child-Friendly New Orleans.” The project aims to build and design spaces for children that are sensitive to their physical development and everyday needs.
The Tulane University School of Science and Engineering recently hosted 5th through 7th graders for Girls in STEM at Tulane. The daylong event featured workshops aimed at empowering and inspiring girls to discover opportunities in the STEM fields.
The Latin American Library at Tulane will be hosting an opening reception for the exhibition “Pan-American Life in New Orleans” on Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Latin American Library on the fourth floor of Tulane’s Howard-Tilton Memorial Library (7001 Freret St.).
