Tulane’s Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies held its fifth annual Three Minute Thesis competition, which supports doctoral students’ capacity to effectively explain their research to a non-specialist audience. Stephen Formel, ecology and evolutionary biology PhD student, won the People's Choice award for his presentation, and Rachel Wise, neuroscience PhD student, was the competition's Grand Prize Winner.
