Tulane University Commencement featured keynote speaker Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, and virtuoso musical performances by Dr. Michael White as more than 3,000 academic degrees were conferred by Tulane President Mike Fitts.
Maya Newman, a sociology and social policy and practice major with a minor in public health, made volunteering a large part of her Tulane experience. For her efforts, the Center for Public Service awarded her one of its Runsdorf Awards for 2019.
