Unlikely companions share space in Bayou Metairie.

Aquatic turtles are undisturbed by the presence of a great egret in New Orleans City Park. Great egrets feed on fish, frogs, small mammals and sometimes small reptiles, and are known to stand motionless as prey unknowingly come within their reach.
