Give audaciously on Give Green Day
The countdown has begun. For the full 24 hours of Wednesday, April 18, Tulane supporters can be a part of Give Green: A Day for the Audacious, during which participants are asked to make a gift to the Tulane Fund in support of scholarships, academics and research at the university.
Give Green day is the first-ever, university-wide giving effort and is an arm of the “Only the Audacious” campaign launched on Dec. 8, 2017.
The day’s activity can be monitored live at givegreen.tulane.edu and shared using #GiveGreenTU on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram throughout the day.
“A lot can happen in just one day. And when we stand together, the impact of a brief 24 hours can last a lifetime.”
—Tulane President Mike Fitts
In Friday's View from Gibson, Tulane President Mike Fitts told the Tulane community that generous donors have already pledged matching funds for all gifts donated on this day.
“Give Green day is a powerful opportunity for supporters to increase the size and impact of their gifts,” said Fitts in the letter. “A lot can happen in just one day. And when we stand together, the impact of a brief 24 hours can last a lifetime.”
Whether you’re a night owl, ready to contribute at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday morning, or a lunch-hour supporter, contributing from your office desk, all gifts in support of Tulane’s future are welcomed and encouraged.
