Good mentorship priceless in women’s careers
Mentorship is priceless when it comes to women in the workplace and Kathy N. Waller, executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Coca-Cola Company, will be on campus Tuesday, March 21, to discuss her experience with mentors and the value they bring to budding careers.
Waller’s visit is part of the Alberto-Culver Women in Business Lecture Series, which brings distinguished, nationally recognized professional women to Tulane University to discuss topics pertaining to women in business.
“The students chose Kathy Waller from among many prominent women business leaders to invite as this year’s speaker, and are really looking forward to her visit,” said Lory Arnold, the adviser to Newcomb’s Women in Business, the student organization that selects the invited lecturers. “Her track record of success speaks for itself and we can’t wait to hear her insights about developing a productive relationship between mentors and mentees.”
