Students in the Tulane University Jazz Studies program perform during a tribute to legendary New Orleans drummer Idris Muhammad on Thursday (Oct. 16). Muhammad, an internationally respected musician, died this year at the age of 74. The performance, which featured special guests Herlin Riley from the Lincoln Center Jazz Band and Sam Williams from Big Sam"s Funky Nation, was part of the Jazz at the Rat concert series held in Der Rathskeller in the Lavin-Bernick Center on the Tulane uptown campus.
