Reda Amer, a professor of practice in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, lectures to his Introduction to Geographic Information Systems class in the Boggs Center for Energy and Biotechnology. The GIS course teaches a computer system designed to capture, store and analyze different types of geographical data.
