Marine helicopter visits uptown campus

Tulane University hosted a United States Marine Corps Reserves helicopter display on the Berger Family Lawn on the uptown campus as part of a flyover scheduled on Friday, March 31. The flyover took place during the Green Wave baseball game against the University of Memphis.

Tulane University hosted a United States Marine Corps Reserves helicopter display on the Berger Family Lawn as part of a flyover scheduled during the Green Wave vs Memphis baseball game on Friday, March 31, 2023
The helicopter display featured an AH-1 Super Cobra from the U.S. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, stationed at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. There were no live weapons or ammunition on the aircraft. Members of the Marine Corps were on hand to answer questions.
