Caroline Parris, left, collections manager, and Kiley Pohn, a senior at Loyola Univeristy, sew labels onto textiles from Oaxaca, Mexico, at the Middle American Research Institute (MARI) in Dinwiddie Hall. These embroidered pieces are part of the Robert Freund collection, which consists of over 500 modern textiles from Mexico. This donation complements MARI's extensive collection of Mesoamerican textiles from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
