Big smiles and hearty congratulations were all around during the Newcomb Children’s Center’s (NCC) drive-by celebration honoring the Class of 2020’s graduation to kindergarten. With pom-poms and noisemakers, teachers and staff cheered the students and their families as they rode past the center on Plum Street in cars and bikes bearing messages of thanks. Large photos of each graduate and signs commending the students for their hard work were posted along the route, where each graduate paused to receive a gift bag.
