Photos: An artful variety

In the soothing space of the Carroll Gallery, visitors peruse a sampling of new work by 13 Tulane studio art faculty members. The exhibition, located in the Woldenberg Art Center of the Newcomb Art Department on the uptown campus, is open through Nov. 22.

Columns of Nuisance, 2010, hand-printed cotton panels descend from the ceiling. The work is by Teresa A. Cole, the Ellsworth Woodward Professor in Art Printmaking and chair of the Newcomb Art Department.

Sculpture for the Levee (maquette), 2011, is a glass work by professor Gene Koss, who directs the glass program.

Lido, 2011, is by Rick Lineberger, professor of practice in photography.
