Shannon Hogan, a second-year med student, reacts to her new look as fellow student Danny Birkhead looks on during the 10th annual Tulane St. Baldrick’s Day event on Friday afternoon in the atrium of the Tulane Medical Center Hospital. Nearly 40 students had their heads shaved, raising over $45,000 to support childhood cancer research. Hogan’s supporters donated over $15,000 in her name.
