Tulane bookstores offer deal on Jazz Fest tickets
UPDATE: First-week tickets are sold out. Tickets for week two are still available.
As the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival opens this weekend, Tulanians can’t wait to devour delectable crawfish bread while being serenaded by heavy-hitting headliners like Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Neil Young.
This year, Tulane community members have even more reason to celebrate their favorite fest’s arrival, as a partnership between the Tulane University Bookstore, the Office of Student Affairs, Tulane University Shuttles & Transportation and Coca-Cola will once again provide discounted admission tickets and free shuttle service.
Back by popular demand, the discounted tickets are currently available at both the uptown and downtown bookstores.

With the purchase of either three aluminum Coca-Cola products or three Smart Water Sports Cap products, Tulane community members can purchase Jazz Fest tickets for $60 each — a discount of $15.
In addition to the discounted ticket offer, the Office of Student Affairs is collaborating with Tulane University Shuttles & Transportation to provide free shuttle service during the fest’s first weekend.
On Saturday (April 23) and Sunday (April 24), shuttles will run continuously from the uptown campus between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Rather than dealing with fighting traffic or finding parking, festival goers can simply show their Splash Card to catch a convenient ride to the Fair Grounds. Four guests are permitted on the shuttle per Splash Card.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival takes place from Friday (April 22) to Sunday (April 24) and from Thursday, April 28, to Sunday, May 1. Get the shuttle schedule here.
