University closed on Friday following Hurricane Zeta
President Mike Fitts updated the university community through emails on Thursday after Hurricane Zeta. University administration assessed hurricane damage to the campuses on Thursday morning and, although the impacts to Tulane's campuses are minimal, the university is still without full power. As a result, the university will be closed Friday, with all classes canceled while cleanup and repairs continue. However, the School of Medicine issued separate messages that their downtown buildings would be open today.
