Give Green returns April 7–8, rallying Tulane community for annual day of giving
When Tulanians come together, the impact is extraordinary. The ninth annual Give Green returns April 7–8, inviting the entire Tulane community — students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni — to take part in this powerful tradition of collective giving.
Across campus and around the country, there are countless ways to participate in Give Green. Throughout the two-day celebration, the energy will be evident, from social media to tabling and activities across both uptown and downtown campuses, bringing the Green Wave spirit to life.
On campus, participants can pick up a Give Green passport and complete challenges to earn food, Tulane gear, sno-balls, giveaways and more. The challenges will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Berger Family Lawn on the uptown campus and in Wave City Market downtown.
The full schedule of events, ways to participate and real-time updates are available on the Give Green website.
“Give Green reflects the very best of Tulane. When a community comes together with a shared purpose and a belief in something bigger than itself, the results are extraordinary,” said Ginny Wise, senior vice president for Advancement. “Each act of generosity builds on the next, creating a wave of impact that strengthens our university and expands what’s possible for our students and our future.”
Give Green continues to grow each year. In 2025, more than 5,000 participants came together to donate over $1.75 million, setting a record for Tulane’s annual day of giving.
Each contribution, no matter what size, helps unlock matching gifts, participation challenges and prize funds that multiply the impact of every donation. Donors can direct their gifts to schools or units across the university that are most meaningful to them.
The Debbie and Rick Rees Big Green Grand Prize provides $50,000 in bonus funding for schools and units, grouped by size, that garner the most Give Green donations. The awards will help generate additional support for students, research and the future of Tulane.
“Give Green is about the power of collective giving,” said Jenny Nathan Simoneaux, assistant vice president, annual giving. “Imagine if each of us inspires just a few more friends or classmates to make a gift. The ripple effect for our students and campus would be incredible.”
