Tulane University Hosts Burkenroad Reports Investment Conference

Top management from more than 30 publicly held companies in the Gulf South will be on hand to give investors an inside look at their companies" financial performance during the past year and prospects for growth.

Students at Tulane"s A.B. Freeman School of Business release extensive research reports on each company at the free annual event, which offers members of the public a barometer for the regional and national economy.

Since 1993 Burkenroad Reports has been producing investment research reports on dozens of small-cap companies, so-called "Stocks Under Rocks" headquartered in six Southern states. Professor Peter Ricchiuti, Burkenroad founder and director, thinks that "well-run, profitable public companies in the region are often overlooked by Wall Street."
