The National Science Foundation Engines grant will fund a coalition of universities, industry partners, government entities, nonprofits, civic organizations, economic development agencies and other stakeholders to foster scientific innovation focused on the energy transition of Louisiana’s industrial corridor. Tulane researchers and leaders from the School of Science and Engineering, the A.B. Freeman School of Business, the Tulane University Innovation Institute and other centers and schools will be part of this interdisciplinary endeavor.

Catch Tulane Bands in several parades this Carnival season! The Tulane University Marching Band (TUMB) will appear in uptown’s Krewe of Cleopatra on Friday, Feb. 2, and the Krewe of Orpheus on Monday, Feb. 12. TUMB will also march in the Mystics of Time parade in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday, Feb. 10. The Soundwave Pep Band will march in Krewe of King Arthur on Sunday, Feb. 4, and the Green Wave Brass Band will march in the Krewe of Barkus on Sunday, Feb. 4. View the full schedule on
