The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University will collaborate with The Atlantic, the official national media partner for this year’s festival, to offer the opening sessions. Additional authors, illustrators and panelists have been announced as well as this year’s culinary track, which will feature a panel on New Orleans culinary family legacies.

| Tulane researchers used nearly 400 monitoring sites along the Louisiana coast, satellite data and other techniques to compare the rate of water-level rise with the rate of wetland elevation change. The Tulane Environmental and Energy Law Society will host the 29th annual Tulane Environmental Law and Policy Summit on Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24. The summit, which is free and open to the public, will feature discussions on the legal implications of climate change-related topics and issues.
