Sloan Foundation research fellow, which recognizes exceptional early-career researchers as next-generation leaders. Punshon-Smith’s work focuses on using complex equations to explain how particles move in turbulent fluids.

The Tulane Department of Theatre and Dance and the Newcomb Dance Company will host “An Evening of Dance 2024” Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Dixon Hall. A performance on Sunday, Feb. 25, will take place at 2 p.m. The performances will feature choreography by faculty members Melanie Greene, Nicole Buckels-Boyd, Jeffrey Gunshol and Carolyn Barber-Pierre.
