Alumni Andrea Turner Moffitt (left) and Chris Britt (right) were honored as Entrepreneurs of the Year at the 2024 Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Awards Gala. Britt, co-founder and CEO of financial technology company Chime, received the Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and Turner Moffitt, co-founder of Plum Alley Investments and author, received the Outstanding Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Tulane and Loyola University New Orleans will co-host an off-campus housing fair Wednesday, March 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the St. Charles Room of the Danna Student Center on Loyola’s campus. The fair highlights Tulane’s partnership with Off Campus Partners, which provides students, faculty and staff with an Off-Campus Housing website to aid in finding housing, roommates and resources.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary season, the Louis Moreau Institute for New Music Performance will host concerts on Sunday, March 24, at 2:30 p.m. in Dixon Hall. Performances will feature institute artists Giancarlo Latta, Theodosia Roussos, Amy Tan and Zhihao Wu accompanied by Assistant Artistic Director Wesley Ducote. The performance also includes the works of Tulane composer and pianist Courtney Bryan, Ryan Harrison, Dennis H. Miller, Wynton Marsalis, Chris Trapani and Andrew Waggoner. Admission is free.
