The Zemurray Foundation’s gift creates two endowed funds for the study of Latin American indigenous languages and art. One of the funds is named in honor of Elizabeth Hill Boone, renowned art historian and professor emerita in the Newcomb Art Department.

The Tulane Freeman Ukrainian Speaker Series will continue on Friday, Feb. 10, with a presentation by Viktoria Palchenkova, professor of law at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. Palchenkova will discuss the public initiatives and legislative actions aimed at reducing corruption in Ukraine since its independence in 1991.
