Researchers at the Eosinophilic Disorder Center of Tulane University School of Medicine have discovered the cause and treatment for eosinophilic esophagitis, a chronic immune system disease triggered by food allergies that affects 1 in 1,500 children. The findings are significant for the disease, which was only identified in the 1990s.
