Justice Sonia Sotomayor charms Tulane audience

More than 1,330 members of the Tulane community packed McAlister Auditorium on Friday night to hear U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor discuss some of her life experiences, role models, her new book and her career. Justice Sotomayor was the inaugural guest speaker of Tulane President Mike Fitts' Presidential Speaker Series.

Tulane professor to hold newly endowed Sher Garner Professorship in Sports Law

Gabe Feldman, the director of Tulane’s Sports Law program, will hold the Sher Garner Professorship in Sports Law, the nation’s first fully endowed professor dedicated to sports law.

McAlister Color Fun Run/Walk & second line

Tulane’s Campus Recreation is holding a Color Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 1 from 5 - 6 p.m. on the university’s Uptown campus. The three-mile run/walk will start in the quad behind Gibson Hall and go through campus, finishing at the Victory Bell in front of McAlister Auditorium. Participants will wear white and will be plastered with blue and green color powder. A half-mile second line will also take place. Registration is available online or on-site from 2 - 4:30 p.m. on the day of the run. For more information, click here.
