The Palliative Medicine Program celebrated its first year of operation at University Medical Center New Orleans with a pair of anniversaries. On Aug. 1, 2018, the outpatient clinic marked its first anniversary; the inpatient clinic marked its first anniversary on Sept. 1, 2018. Together, the clinics have had more than 1,500 patient encounters.
