Kiplinger's Ranks Tulane Among Best

Tulane University is ranked No. 40 in the “100 Best Values in Private Colleges,” published in the December issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. The rankings are based on student-faculty ratios, admission rates, on-time graduation rate, sticker price and financial aid.
In developing the rankings, the organization starts with data on more than 600 private institutions and combines quality and affordability measures to determine the schools that are the best value, according to Kiplinger's website.
Kiplinger is a Washington, D.C.â“based publisher of business forecasts and personal finance advice. The organization publishes The Kiplinger Letter, a weekly business and economic forecasting periodical, and the monthly Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.
