The Dames de Perlage Marching Krewe proudly call themselves “Ladies of Beadwork” as they show off their hand-sewn costumes during Carnival in New Orleans. The Dames work year-round beading their corsets and making elaborate beaded and feathered headdresses.  This year, the Dames are marching in four parades: Freret, King Arthur, Oak, and Tucks. If you look closely, you will see a handful of Tulanians among the 40-member walking krewe.  Meet a few of them in this video.
