Miley Cyrus Film Looking for Extras

A casting company will be on the uptown campus today and Wednesday (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1) looking to cast students as extras in a film starring Miley Curus, the actress known widely for her Disney role as Hannah Montana. Scenes from her new movie So Undercover will begin filming on campus in December.

Tulane will not be identified in the film but members of the university community might recognize some scenery when the production hits the screen.

Anyone interested in obtaining a role in the flick, which will feature Cyrus as a private investigator hired by the government to work incognito among members of a college sorority, can visit the Glorioso Casting booth in the Lavin-Bernick Center today (Nov. 30) and Wednesday (Dec. 1) from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Ryan Glorioso, who oversees principal casting for the company, says that all interested students are encouraged to come by the booth and meet with the casting team. Students will be photographed individually as they sign up.

According to the Glorioso Casting website, extras are being cast for a multiday job running Dec. 13–17, Dec. 20–22 and Jan. 3–6.

Extras who are selected will be compensated.

For those who are unable to visit with the casting team this week, there is an online talent registration that requires a clear color picture without sunglasses or hats.
