Tulane is launching a new nursing program through a collaboration between the School of Medicine and the School of Professional Advancement. The program, which will offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, will help increase the state’s healthcare workforce at a time when the need for such healthcare heroes is critical.

Immerse yourself in an evening filled with the harmonies of ambient music and contrapuntal vocals that mirror the visual scores found within poet and composer Tanner Menard’s forthcoming album. The program, titled Telepathic Futurisms: The Poetics of Contrapuntal Sonification and Visuality in ‘The Poet’ with Tanner Menard will take place Sunday, Dec. 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. at A Studio in the Woods, a program of the Tulane ByWater Institute. The 2023 Greater New Orleans Startup Report is now available. It was compiled by the Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tulane’s A. B. Freeman School of Business. According to this year’s report, regional startups are staffing up and attracting more investment funding. This is despite headwinds from higher interest rates, inflation and pessimism over the national economy.
