Tulane has announced a partnership with two New Orleans high schools, St. Katharine Drexel Preparatory School and St. Augustine High School. Tulane will award full four-year tuition scholarships each year, two to each school, as well as pre-college summer programming and courses.

Tulane Libraries is accepting volunteers to be a “living book” at a Living Library event, taking place Friday, March 15, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Pocket Park near the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life during the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane. Tulane students, faculty, staff and residents of the Greater New Orleans area from all backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is hosting the Dean’s Leaders & Lagniappe Lecture Series, where Dean Thomas LaVeist speaks with other public health school deans. February’s lecture is Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Diboll Gallery and Auditorium and features deans from University of Michigan School of Public Health and CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy. Doors open for the lecture at 11:45 a.m. and a mixer with light refreshments will follow at 1 p.m. The lecture will also be streamed online and registration is required.
