The Carole Barnette Boudreaux ’65 Great Writers Series, hosted by the School of Liberal Arts, will welcome award winning author Amitav Ghosh for a public lecture on Wednesday, March 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the Kendall Cram Lecture Hall, located in the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life. Ghosh, who is the author of 10 novels, two books of nonfiction and a collection of essays, became the first English-language writer to receive India’s highest literary honor, the Jnanpith Award.
