Colin Jackson, assistant professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the School of Science and Engineering, has won a National Science Foundation Early Career Award. The award will support Jackson and his research team in conducting experiments that investigate the chemical reactions in subduction zones and will allow Jackson to develop curricula to better engage high school students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
