Campus crepe myrtle provides shade and a frame of reference.

A crepe myrtle tree outside Hebert Hall frames a scene on Gibson Quad. Native to warmer climates in Asia, northern Australia and the Pacific Islands, crepe myrtles are a popular ornamental tree in the local landscape.
