Life After High School 2021 webinar

The Cowen Institute at Tulane will host a webinar on the institute’s Life After High School 2021 report today from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. The report examines the economic and educational realities currently facing young New Orleanians. Funding Equity: Black Professionals in Philanthropy

SoPA leads conversation on equity in philanthropy

In celebration of Black Philanthropy Month, the School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) will host a virtual panel discussion titled “Funding Equity: Black Professionals in Philanthropy” on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Halima Leak Francis, director of SoPA’s public administration program, will serve as moderator. Panelists include Marc Barnes, ex officio board member of the Center for Racial Justice and Dillard University’s vice president of institutional advancement; Christy Slater, program officer for the W.K.
