New Tulane Family Portal provides one-stop information source for families

When excited first-year students arrive at Tulane this week, their families will have a new way to keep up with events and news from campus: the Tulane Family Portal.
 
The Tulane Family Portal provides news, resources, event announcements, important dates and upcoming deadlines collected just for parents, family members and other supporters of Tulane students. Family members will be able to log in and complete a profile questionnaire to receive information customized for their interests and their student’s needs. All the relevant information is available on the web-based portal, as well as in email digests that families can sign up for.
 
The new Family Portal has multiple benefits, said Penny Wyatt, director of Family Programs — the primary one being that it is a “one-stop” web-based location for information and resources. Parents and families have indicated that they value the communications they receive from Tulane. This new tool will help parents find the information they want more easily and at the frequency they prefer. Users will enjoy how simple it is to use the interface to access its feed of announcements, promotions and short articles, quick links and resources, Family Programs contact information, and information related to their student’s experiences.
 
The Tulane Family Portal goes live Aug. 17. Parents and families of Tulane students who complete their profile questionnaire by Aug. 31, 2022, will be entered into a drawing for prizes offered by Tulane’s Travel Program partners.
